It's time for our annual Harvest Festival!
Each year, we host our fun filled Harvest Festival on the Saturday before Halloween. We generally have 500+ attendees! The proceeds from the festival are used to fund our scholarships which are used to help kids attend our camps who may not otherwise be able to. There will be animals to pet and feed, pumpkin carving, face painting, hayride, hay maze, bake sale, raffle, games, live music, a food truck and as a finale, a bonfire at the end of the evening with drumming!
It is also a time in which our farm families come together to bring this festival together for the public! It truly takes a village to put on this festival and we would love to have your help! There are many different ways to contribute to the success of Harvest Festival, from baking items for our bake sale to supervising and helping in the animal areas, pumpkin carving, zip lines, pony rides, hay maze, ticketing, bonfire supervision etc. Kids and their parents can sign up together as a unit.
This year, we are also offering anyone who is a part of a local organization whose purpose or mission is to be of service to the community, to set up an information booth at Harvest Festival. Please contact us at admin@sunrisecfc.com if you are interested in participating.
We also welcome any crafts people/artists/artisans/musicians who would like to have a table to sell their work at the festival. Musicians, let us know if you would like time on the stage! Please contact us at admin@sunrisecfc.com for details.
