Intersession and Mini Camps

Campers participate in the full array of farm life activities, with lots of time to play and explore our small animals; guinea pigs, chickens, rabbits, and turkeys, explore the woods and ziplines, do fun crafts, and learn about the garden.

Everyone has the option to ride a horse. Our horse riding is great for beginners and experienced riders. The foundation of our riding program is called the CRAFTS of Partnership: Communication, Respect, Acknowledgement, Friendship, Trust & Setting Good Boundaries. Your child has the option of Horse Immersion to spend First and Second class doing horse-related activities, including extra ride time.

Our animals are always at work empowering the children to have higher self-confidence and to get beyond the natural fears that come up in learning something new and in being outdoors in Nature and around animals.

Mini Camps are open for Kindergarteners through 8th grade.  Junior Mentors (application and approval process required) are also welcomed and may sign up on our JM signup page!

Campers must be in at least 2nd grade to participate in Horse Immersion. Campers in Horse Immersion camp should be comfortable riding independently at a walk.

* Virtual Learning Camp --Do you need a place for your child to do their virtual school day? If they are independent at navigating their virtual day, they may spend the day outside under our covered pavilion doing their schoolwork! They will need to bring all their needed materials to attend virtual school (computer or tablet, headphones with microphone, school supplies etc. with them as well as snacks, lunch and water/drink). Our staff can supervise them to make sure they get logged on and that they remain at their table with their computer/tablet. We do not have the staffing to individually follow them through their classes. Price is the same as a Farm Camp day plus early/extended care because it starts earlier to match your school day. Afternoon extended care would not be charged additionally. This option may be offered if CHCCS schools have a virtual learning day.
