🐰 Brownie Pet Badge: Rabbits, Horses & Pony Rides! CONTACT US TO SCHEDULE $25 per participant In this 2-hour hands-on workshop, Brownies will complete the requirements for their Pet Badge by exploring the worlds of both small and large animals. From soft bunnies to majestic horses, scouts will learn exactly what it takes to keep different pets happy, healthy, and loved. What the Scouts Will Experience: Rabbit Care & Handling: We begin with our resident rabbits! Scouts learn about rabbit body language (building a relationship), proper feeding, and how to safely handle and groom these small pets. The Big Comparison: Girls will compare a rabbit’s needs to those of a horse, discussing how habitats, diets, and "comfy" spaces change based on the animal's size. Introduction to Horses: Moving to the stable, scouts learn the basics of horse care, safety, and how to bond through grooming. The Grand Finale: Every scout concludes their session with an exciting pony ride! Flexible Scheduling for Your Troop: This class is designed for maximum flexibility to fit your troop's needs: Independent Class: Book this as a standalone 2-hour event for your Brownie or Daisy troop. Paired with Juniors: This class can run side-by-side with our Junior Horse Lesson. This allows multi-level troops to visit the barn together—older scouts work on independent riding while younger scouts earn their Pet Badge and enjoy pony rides! You will have about 30 minutes after your class finishes to enjoy some time together with your troop. You are welcome to bring food/drink for your group.
